My pump stopped working after 11 months. Fortunately, the unit was still under warranty. from Amazon.com I have two basement rooms. In one is one of my several Maytag (M7DH65B2A) 65-Pint Dehumidifiers that I've owned for about a year, and in the other is the DeLonghi (DE500P with Pump). The original plan was to use the DeLonghi's pump, but then I discovered that I have a floor drain. from Amazon.com Strengths: Pump, two drain options (hoses included), Energy star rating, Dehumidification capacity, backlit LCD display Weaknesses: No auto-start, possible quality control issues Summary: I'm surprised to be writing the first review for this dehumidifier here at pricegrabber. If you look around there are lots of bad reviews elsewhere for the DE500P. from Pricegrabber.com I have two model 500p and very happy with them.... I would like to obtain another but I need it to be able to restarty itself after a power failure... from Ekitchengadgets.com Pros: User interface is nice.
