I have been looking for a smaller dehumidifier to put in my barn where I store my tack. This product fit the bill perfectly. Not only is it small and compact, but it also works great! from Circuitcity.com The Amcor MD250 Mini Dehumidifier was received promptly within the allotted time period, in the original packaging and in new condition. I, the buyer, didn't research the product well enough thinking it would be somewhat bigger than it was but irregardless of that aspect it works well enough, the color is something other than the usual drab white of most appliances (silver), and it runs with minimal noise. from Amazon.com Worked great for a few months, then it stopped working. Never again buying another Amcor product. from Amazon.com Great for my closet. However this last week, I emptied it as usual, and when I plugged it back in and tried to turn it on, nothing happened. I have called Amcor and they promised to get back to me in 24 hours. That was almost a week ago. from Amazon.com this product was built for and meant for small rooms and will keep the air from becoming too damp (and so creating mildew and mold) and will freshen the air, allowing for cleaner air. from Amazon.com it didn't collect any water at all, even thought it was noisy and gave off heat. from Circuitcity.com i bought two of them and the other unit started making this horrible loud rattling sound. from Target.com not only is it small and compact, but it also works great! from Circuitcity.com when it first came on it made a rattling noise for a few moments, then became quiet again. from Amazon.com had it for about 10 months when the fan started to make noises and would start slowly after being turned on, as if it was having trouble getting going. from Amazon.com
