this is my first deep fryer so i don't really have anything to compare it to other than pan frying.
isn't making me dance a jig or anything, but it will do.
it fries anything you put in it to perfection and the clean up is oh so easy.
i am the type of person who doesn't like to deal with a big mess and won't buy anything that i can't throw in the dishwasher.
just don't mess with anything else!
it's sort of an oddly-shaped cup, and seems to have little nubs on it where it would fit into something something else, but i sure can't find anything on the fryer that looks like a space for it.

we have been using the old frydaddy bucket fryer for years and my wife asked that i buy her a new fryer for her birthday, but she didn't want anything fancy or expensive.
the food comes out perfect, clean up is a snap and we would never trade it for anything else.
if there was anything negative it would be the size which makes storage a little tricky.
after a week, i sent another email and didn't hear anything.
i am always looking for new uses to cook anything outside by the pool.
set your fry area up away from kids, pets and anything that you want to see another day.
i would also add that even a little wind will slow down or stop your cooking time as the burner blasts out the gas so fast (which is normal for that hot a flame needed) that the fire is only on the

i got rid of my old fryer because it got so gross i didn't want to eat anything that came out of it anymore although it still worked fine.
the only reason we're not giving it 5 stars is that we haven't tried anything difficult yet - so far just fried zucchini and okra, but overall we're very pleased.
if you put anything more than a few pieces of "whatever" in it at a time and don''t use the fyer basket lid it floats right out into the oil.
