our daughter is 14 and we allow her to use it, because unlike our old traditional deep fryer, she is safer using this one...less chance of grease burn
you don't have to store the grease in the fryer like the others because if clean up being to so difficult.
it really heats and the food gets done quickly and doesn't absorb a lot of grease.
