the basket is nice and big, the window as mentioned elsewhere is pretty useless as it fogs quickly ( maybe 1 microsecond ;-) ).

the window on the top of the lid is useless since it fogs up in one nanosecond of frying.

the loud timer alarm is helpful, the window is nice to view "what's cookin'" and the oil drainage and storage system is really nice and easy to use.

cons: steam from the unit fogs up the viewing window.

the window allows you to see the food as its cooking and it was very nice to be able to lift the basket up without opening the unit to view through the window.

they advertise the "viewing window" as a feature but to be honest there is no way your going to see anything through it when its cooking as it will be steemed up and there is no light inside!

the only reason i didn't give it five stars is because the "ready" light isn't that iluminated and the window to view the food is small and gets steamy.

the only con i have found is although the window is a nice idea it usually steams up as soon as you put the lid on the fryer.

the glass window is not very usable as it steams up and you have to take the lid off if you really want to inspect the contents.
