we love this fryer, we use it at least every other day.
the day after christmas we had a deep fry feast.
received this fryer 2 days ago to replace a delonghi that i had for several years that doesn't have a removable and immersible pot.
this one takes and beating and still looks amazing and still works from the first day i bought it.
that is after using them all day, every day.
this turkey fryer was a superb price compared to the stores- it was delivered right to my door on next day service and the turkeys came out juicy, tasty and i was told to never use an oven again.
bought it and deep fried a turkey, very juicy even after rewarming in the microwave the next day.
the day before i put it all together.
emptying it is a bit of a pain, i've used another fry pot that had a nozzle mounted at the side of the bottom for easy emptying, that would be great, maybe one day i'll order just that fry bucket.
i fried up some chickens so i'd have some frying practice before t-day rolled around and learned a few tips:
the day before i bought the dualdaddy, i spent over an hour trying to get the old one clean, and finally gave up and threw it out.
i didn't have to pay any shipping; and the item was received in 3 days!
id recommend this one to anyone..but hay dont buy too many of them i may want another one one day ha ha ha...presto dual daddy rocks!!!
gave this product to my husband as a father's day present and it has been used at least 3 times a week.
but beware that there might be a day when your fryer decides it does not like putting used oil where it belongs....
i bought this fryer a couple of days ago, and im very pleased.
the greatest part is the storage of the oil in its own drain and filter unit, after you are through for the day.
i called t-fal customer service and after a two day wait was told to take it to a repair station.
it holds 12 cups oil...great capacity.i received it in only 2 days!i added the 4.99 extra shipping.anyway i just fried up some wings and they could not have been better!
i work at a deli that uses fryers all day.
i bought this delonghi deep fryer a few days ago it's a excellent fryer i was worried it was going to be too big because in the picture it looks tall but it's just the right size for two people takes
we had some of the left overs cold the next day and they were virtually grease-free.
(personally, i just make sure i always down some alli pills, but you will probably pay for it the next day.)
we haven't used it multiple times, just on christmas day repeatedly.
while not a reasonable excuse to start eating fried food every day, using this machine is a great alternative for the occasional fried treat.
at first it was great, used it for about 3 days, and the basket started to melt, it was not designed for high heat oil cooking.
we had our annual memorial day crawfish boil and as usual it rained.
i am a total fan of the master built--the turkey was so tender and delicious (brine it the day before like i did if you want over the top juicy & flavorful results)--and i look forward to the next
if you have an outdoor area where you can use one safely, i would recommend that over an electric any day.
well, the day before the party, i opened up the box to do a test run of the fryer.
hardest part of frying the turkey was finding peanut oil the day before thanksgiving.
when i chose this fryer, i deliberated for days.
i later tried a second time a few days after and got through in a minutes time (shocking reversal).
this unit was a replacement for one i purchased a year ago that quit working about 3 days after the warantee ran out- and i only used it a handful of times.
