i just recieved this as a wedding present and i can say that it is better then i thought it would be..the clean up is so easy since the bowl is removable, and cooking time is incredibly fast!

uses less oil with it's size and heats fast and cleanup easy.

the timer prevents overcooking and the basket makes lifting out and draining so easy!

the only complaint i have is when i fry chicken, i'm not sure if it's because i'm leaving the lid on or not but it not that crispy, my husband says its because you don't fry chicken with a lid.

when frying chicken you end up with the goop at the bottom of the fryer so you have to pick up the whole fryer to pour out the oil and strain it.

it does have a relatively large basket and the oil well is constructed of pretty heavy metal and is easy to remove.

it wasn't as easy to clean as they described by any means.

i agree with previous reviews about the cord being too short, detaching too easily, and difficulty draining the oil.
