These are all pretty minor things, I would still buy it again knowing what I know now. The oil filtering and storage is great and why I chose this unit in the first place. I think clean-up if very easy for a fryer. It still looks brand new after several uses including going camping with us. from Buy.com Secondly, The top does not secure down very well and when you move the basket at all. Other than those issues, it has worked extremely well. Assembles quickly, heats quickly, cooks very nicely, drains easily (we had no trouble with drainage at all) and it is beyond easy to clean!
