To be honest I purchased this fryer in 06, through another online store, BUT, I must say it is one of the best kitchen appliances I own. Believe me, I went through my fair share of flash fryers and not ONE compares to this one. I like EVERY THING DELONGHI. I OWN a Delonghi fryer, espresso machine, blender & 7 qt 1200 watt stand mixer. from Qvc.com We've had the fryer for a few weeks now and just keep finding excuses and recipes to use it. It is a dream tool. We thought we'd need more than 375 max temp, but do not. from Cooking.com I bought this Delonghi deep fryer a few days ago it's a excellent fryer I was worried it was going to be too big because in the picture it looks tall but it's just the right size for two people takes up very little counter space and the easy drain works really well just open the door and turn the handle and the oil drains out. The DeLonghi deep fryer suprised me initially, because it is so much smaller and lighter than the Tefal, but it has turned out to be a great appliance for me -- although I'm not cooking for a family, the capacity is at least as good as the Tefal it replaced. from Amazon.com
