Best Crock Pots and Slow Cookers for Low Setting

i have only used the low setting.

i never noticed that all 3 of them on low setting is not a true low setting until i used my new all clad.

pros: ladle attaches to lid, lid secured by clips, great food when used properly cons: capacity large for my needs, very large for kitchen storage, low setting seems "hot" the bottom line:

pros: this unit is pretty slick, it has 3 modes: manual, automatic, and probe.manual has high and low settings, no timerautomatic has a timer mode, set it to cook for a specific lenght of time, and

i read other reviews because i wanted one that would actually stay on the low setting.

it then automatically switches to a low setting to keep your meal warm until you are ready to eat.

the high setting cooks roasts and stews in 2-3 hours, with the low setting, i set the cooker in the morning and have dinner ready in the evening.

- in addition to the traditional high and low settings, you also have a 'simmer' and 'buffet' mode....nice additions to have if you leave your pot out during parties.

also, i just cook everything with the low setting.

the third and fourth models both cracked after the first few uses (i always followed directions and only used the low setting for the 8 hour recipes).
