it is well made, simple to use and works well.
excellent well built us it 3 to 4 times a week
attractive and durable.
it is a very well made product, the color is gorgeous, the features are great (it has several settings --so different from just the hi-lo settings i remember).
i've used it for stews, soups, and meat dishes and like the hefty handles and sturdy feet, the large simple controls, and the shiny black ceramic pot is easy to clean.
can't talk about durability yet as it is kinda new, but don't see any reason to doubt that it will serve me well for a long time.
i'm not sure how it would stand up to bumps as the outside seems like it could dent pretty easily and the side handles are not as sturdy as my larger one.
the outer heating portion is very light (the reason for only 4 stars under durability) and i imagine it would dent easily when the insert isn't in it, but if you keep that in mind it should be alright
if these deficiencies did not exist the ratings would all be be five-star (haven't had it long enough to rate durability).hint: lift the cover up slightly with a small wire or twist tie looped over
pros: durable, easy to clean, great carrying case, lid elastic supurb bottom line: yes, i would recommend this to a friend
although this might be one of the most expensive slow cookers on the market, it is extremely well made and a great value.
it's a very simple device, but well made.
the unit is well built and is larger than most slow cookers.
i love the durability of this crockpot.
with the digital timer up to 20 hours and heavy duty stainless steel frame, the unit was worth the extra money.
sounds like the description for the perfect husband but this slow cooker is sturdy, i mean it does not slide around the counter, is not light weight like my old oval one.
the lid and the ceramic inner pot are very sturdy, and the controls are straightforward and super easy to use.
we have not had this cooker long enough to comment on durability.
the design is a bit bulkier than i am used to, but it has nice sturdy handles and is well balanced.
i would recommend this product to others and would buy it again pros: durable, easy to clean, maintains heat best uses: elaborate meals, simple meals describe yourself: casual cook
pros: durable, easy to clean, even heating, handle stays cool, maintains heat, non-stick cons: inside pot can't go in ov, not big enough, pot can'tgo on stove best uses: large kitchens
pros: durable, easy to clean, even heating, good size, handle stays cool, maintains heat, non-stick cons: hard to store in small sp best uses: simple meals
pros: durable, easy to clean, even heating cons: gets hot on the outside best uses: large kitchens, simple meals
it is sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean and convenient.
however, it should have been made a little more sturdy.
my only complaint would be that the pot itself seems to be on the flimsy side versus the previous one i owned.
i had a crock pot that was stone and the handle broke off at a potluck, so although i liked the stone, i didn't want another one that was so fragile.
except maybe for the lid which does not seem to be as sturdy or as good as my old lid.....
it's durable, cooks evenly, and is so easy to clean!
the sturdy easy-access handles make it super easy to transport.
this is a very sturdy slow cooker all together, the lid is heavy and the handles, which i didn't think i would like, are so much more easier to grasp and hold on too and they don't get hot.
handles are sturdy & not in the way of the lid when you go to take it on and off.....spoon rest could be better designed but at least it is there!
the only reason i'm a little worried about durability is the rubber gasket.
i have used it only twixe, so i cannot really speak to its durability.
i was looking for a durable, user friendly slow cooker that cooks to perfection, and i found it in this product!
aside from the fact that the handles feel flimsy when i pick it up, this is a wonderful product.
it is well made and simple to use (including the programing feature).
the construction is sturdy and appears that it will wear well.
well built - with a great ceramic insert with good handles for lifting - i highly recommend it.
the low temperature allows you to cook meals for 8 hours or more and the pot seems to be well built.
this just goes to show it is possible to manufacture something both cheaply and properly.
the stoneware bowls are very sturdy, and even when using the 6 qt bowl, which has at least 1/3 of it "submerged" in the slow cooker and the rest exposed to open air, heat is evenly distributed
this product seems to be well built, but durability over time is the proper guage of quality.
plus they are very durable and attractive!
this item is sturdy, versatile, easy to maintain, and reliable.
it has a seal that doesn't leak liquids and is well made.
seems to be well made and a long lasting cooker.
pros: durability, portability, size, price cons: i have no problems with this crockpot.
the gasket on the lid is flimsy & bent up on the first use.
the plastic is not only *plastic*, but it's flimsy plastic.
it's big and formidable with a sturdy ceramic pot insert that transitions to the table nicely.
seems well built and anyone who walks into the house after it has been cooking for a hour or two makes comments about how something smells really good.
all of the latest slow cookers are made in china, so i was somewhat concerned about the construction quality.
it may cost more than other comparable models but i would definitely recommend it because of the quality of the construction and its performance, heating, cooking, and keeping warm.
pros: durable, attractive, with infinite control settings.
even if you outgrow this cooker as i have, you will still find it useful for making up stocks or desserts, and again, the price is just unbelievable given its durability.
it is perfect to clean the sturdy ceramic (or ceramic-like) removable base and the glass cover is great too.
which is a shame because the rest of the unit is well-made.
extremely durable.
the knob will break easily for no apparent reason.
the bottom line: great design, love the timer and warming features, easy to clean and use and very durable.
spend less on another product and get more durability
pros: cleans up easy, durable insert, travels well!
