strengths: stainless steel design, extra little pot, simplistic use, removable liner weaknesses: cord length could be a bit longer summary: this crockpot is simple and easy to use.
i read all the reviews and was a bit worried, but i was excited to start crock pot cooking as we have a young baby at home and i thought this would make our lives a little easier.
i haven't used the little crockpot that comes with it, but it's very cute and would be perfect for a warm cheese dip or chocolate to dip fruit in.
she especially loved the little one that came with it.
the amount of things that you can make in this little gadget is amazing.
strengths: switches to warm when done weaknesses: cooks a little on the high side summary: i really love this crockpot.
the retractable cord is a great idea, makes the cooker a little more counter friendly and storage that much simpler (not having to wrap the cord around the cooker or stick it in the pot for storage).
you need to experiment a little bit at first to get the temperature and hour settings in sync with each other so that your food is prepared properly.
the three units i've had do not just get a little too warm at the low setting, they get boiling hot (literally) within 3-4 hours.
i think that those involved in this product could have thought a little longer before dumping it onto the market.
it had a little ding in it but i am not worried about it.
the multiple time settings are excellent so if i must be gone all day or i need it a little more quickly i am in control.
it does get a little hot, but that seems normal to me - i just make sure nothing surrounds it while cooking, especially paper or plastic.
i really like this product, and there should be one in everyone's kitchen, however, the pot ran a little hot for my taste.some of the peas in my first stew that i made in it, were burned and for that
the same thing just happened to us - we've used our crockpot a little over a year and last night the handle just pulled right off the lid!
