in my opinion it's the best 5 qt round ceramic slow cooker - because un-like so many other inexpensive slow cookers it has 3 true settings that are not too hot to boil your food away.

i was concerned because there have been a lot of complaints about newer slower cookers cooking too hot--and drying out food after being left all day due to the newer fda regulations.
