Best Crock Pots and Slow Cookers for Cheap

i'm not giving it 5 stars because the knob on the lid as well as the handles on the sides are made of cheap plastic, and for that price, i really think cuisinart could have done better.

bought this after looking at quite a lot of other options, and after reading all these reviews (thanks guys!) - $99 isn't necessarily cheap for a slow cooker.

i have been through so many cheap ones i fianlly paid the price and it works so much better.

we had a cheap (under $20) rival model before; it got too hot and the lid did not seal tightly.

cheap manufacturing - two had warped lids, all three had defects in the ceramic pots glazing -- bad news b/c a hole in the glazing is a harbor for bacteria.

i am so sorry i gave my trusty 25 year old crock away to charity (not to be confused with new cheap crocks).

this one was cheap and it does its job well.

i agree with the several other reviews on this site which rate this crock pot high in its quality - other than its cheap plastic knob, which broke.

i wasn't sure if i'd use a slow-cooker, so i bought a cheap model -- this one.

the selector knob feels cheap.
