I purchased the Hamilton Beach 33141 4-Quart cooker in December 2006 here on Amazon, and have used it extensively ever since. I do indulge myself and use "crockpot liners" which makes serving and clean up easy. This Hamilton Beach unit has heat coils around the sides which stay hot, as opposed to slow cookers with heat sources in the base, which turn on and off intermittently.
