Cooked a roast with potatoes and carrots. It was delicious. Slow cooker worked great. from Cooking.com having used our new cooker several times i am pleased with the ease of use, the clarity of the instructions, and the overall performance. from Cooking.com This slow cooker provides even cooking. It's easy to use and has all the features a cook needs. from Cooking.com Bought one ,It did not work, The internal temp setting were off 40 degrees. (Low) so it would not cook prepared dishes. So we returned it to Cuisinart They sent a new one We are using it today to see if it works. The new one cost us $ 10 in shipping and we had to return the malfuctioning one $ 22.00 Total $ 32.00 If we did not return the bad one our warranty would be taken away. from Amazon.com to big for the dish washer. And another disapointment is to pay to ship a bad product back. YOU LOSE(TWICE)I will not purshase cuisinart products on line again. from Amazon.com I read many reviews before deciding to buy the "Cuisinart PSC-650 6.5 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker", in brushed stainless steel. I noticed right after purchase in 2008, that the cheaply made "stainless" steel exterior stained from finger oils when you touch it. from Amazon.com I recieved the slow cooker 3 days ago . And I was so shocked to learn that nothing I put in the pot would get done. from Amazon.com The lid does not fit, most often the steam goes out which kills the whole purpose of a slow cooker. Only the first two times, the meat was really tender and cooked slowly. from Amazon.com We bought this because every item we own that has the Cuisinart brand name attached to it has been wonderful.
