Bought one ,It did not work, The internal temp setting were off 40 degrees. (Low) so it would not cook prepared dishes. So we returned it to Cuisinart They sent a new one We are using it today to see if it works. The new one cost us $ 10 in shipping and we had to return the malfuctioning one $ 22.00 Total $ 32.00 If we did not return the bad one our warranty would be taken away. from Amazon.com I bought this slow cooker because of the features and thought that "Cuisinart" would also mean quality, but made a mistake on that one. The lid is ill fitting -- there is a gap from the lid and the crock that allows for too much evaporation. from Amazon.com We bought this because every item we own that has the Cuisinart brand name attached to it has been wonderful.
