Pros: Decorative crock and warm setting. Cons: (Deliberately?) flimsy, cheap, plastic handle breaks, rendering unit useless. The Bottom Line: Avoid---Rival will not replace shoddy, poorly designed parts. from Shopping.com I turned it over and some of the bottom of the pot is cracked too. This pot has never been dropped. I thought maybe the heat from the dishwasher, but the owners manual says dishwasher safe(I have washed other crock-pots without problems) [...] I called Rival they said the lid and pot was not under warranty so there is nothing they would do either. from Target.com I don't think I've ever reviewed a product, but I need to express my dismay with this Crock Pot. Amazon could not replace the lid and gave me a $10 credit---whoop de do! I spent many hours on the phone trying to get another lid from Rival.
