Pros: Cooks in the time it says it will Cons: Heavy interior, so a little hard to manipulate in the sink. I used it happily for 18 months. from Shopping.com I was disappointed that the few (very few) recipes that came with the cooker were not enough and some of the recipes were not for everyday cooking. The ceramic insert is extremely heavy so be careful when carrying and washing it. But, all in all, I would highly recommend this slow cooker as is the All-Clad name for perfection. I live near the All-Clad facility in Canonsburg, PA, so I regret saying that outsourcing to China requires a great deal of effort to maintain quality control, which effort isn't shown in this product. from Amazon.com But when I plugged it in last week, the screen filled with 8s and it wouldn't turn on. The warranty is for only one year, so we went local to repair it. No luck - All-Clad doesn't supply parts. So we called All-Clad and were told that they don't do repairs. from Amazon.com
