you just have to make sure that the it's very warm in the room since the baby pretty much sleeps on the floor.
the ultimate test of a crib though, no matter how much we like it, is if your child will actually sleep in it.
too short); and 2) since the sides are sloped in slightly, it is a little difficult to put sleeping baby in easily - you have to bend over and lean forward slightly, compromising your balance.
it was a fantastic decision - our baby loves the crib and sleeps very well in it both at home and in hotels.
we travel at least once a month and we are militant about regular naps when at other people's homes so there is a lot of value in finding a product that our child will sleep in.
it is not easy to take down or even to convert from a bassinet to a co-sleeper and the directions do not specify how to do it.
we've never used the co-sleeper part, so i can't comment on that, but we're very happy with the bassinet and have used it every day since we brought our baby home.
i have the full-size co-sleeper and i simply must sing the praises of whoever invented this wonderful product!
this product offers a safe and secure place for my baby to sleep, while at the same time being close to my husband and i.
the bottom line: this is a great product for breastfeeding parents who don't want to have the baby sleep in the bed with them.
i have the original full size co-sleeper and i wish i had the smaller mini co-sleeper because the baby doesn't move around until about 4 months and by then you can put them in the crib on top of that
i got it as a baby-shower gift and have used it until my little one was ready to sleep on her crib at 3 months of age(actually, that's when i was ready to let her go to her crib..
it's nice to have a safe place where baby can sleep, and we can just peek over to see how she is.
he quickly outgrew his bassinet so we purchased the co-sleeper.
i recommend this product to any mother who is breastfeeding, recovering from a c-section or just want your baby to sleep as close to you as possible.
it's big yet was able to fit into our bedroom, you can actually fit 2 babies in it, it's great gives me peace of mind knowing my baby will be sleeping right next to me =)
this product does what it says - it remains by bedside - is sturdy - saves you getting out of bed when feeding and is comfortable enough for my baby who has been sleeping there for over three months.
just a warning - if you think this product is going to help keep the baby out of the bed so you can have a little more room and sleep a little better, well, might not work out that way.
but it is so nice to have our daughter next to us and to know that she is getting the benefits of sleeping near us but with out the fear of us smothering her.
i lost many countless hours of sleep wondering if we decided on the right crib, and after all is said and done, it is well worth it!
my little one just moved into it from her bassinet and she sleeps better than ever.
also, this crib does not allow the front rail to raise or lower, so no sliding the crib up next to our bed like a co-sleeper (some of my friends have done this) and at times it would have been nice
we purchased this crib for our baby after looking everywhere including [a baby store].this crib is beautiful and very sturdy.our baby loves it and sleeps in it every night.we had no problems with the
i bought this crib at target several months ago - we had a friends baby sleeping in the crib and she got stuck with her torso between the mattress edge and the bars of the crib!!!
we haven't used the crib too much for our 3 month old, as she usually sleeps in bed with us, but she does nap in it and it's still a good size for her at 12.5 lbs.
it is great to move from room to room and you can pull it up next to your bed similar to a co-sleeper.
we got this crib because our son refused to sleep in two of the other "pack and play" style cribs.
she still sleeps just fine in this crib and hasn't climbed out once.
the main thing is to always lay the infant on it's back to sleep, and not on it's belly.
the slide rail is really easy to use with one hand, which will be nice when it's time to put a sleeping baby in the crib.
he's been sleeping with us, but i will put him in the crib soon for him to get used to it.
(click anywhere inside this popup to close it) crib i am a first time mom with a one year old son, who up until now has been sleeping in his pack & play.~i ordered this crib and had it
[...] overall we adore the crib and my daughter sleeps better in this than the other one she had!
my son is a really light sleeper but he falls asleep in the crib so it's not a huge problem.
my daughter loves sleeping in it.
the other reviewer is right, you can push it up to your bed if you want a co-sleeper type of bed, and you could even lower the side down for easy reach of the baby.
my son sleeps all night in his crib..i love it.
our one month old baby is still using his mini co-sleeper right now, but we've put him in the crib for a few naps and since he's started to 'scoot' and turn on his side, he loves having the space.
we purchased this crib for our 1 year old daughter and since she has been in it, she has been sleeping so much better!!!
she had my brother in law assemble it at her place, as she will be using it when she watches the baby while i am at work, until he outgrows his co-sleeper when he gets to be 15 lbs.
my son is now 13 months old and has been sleeping in this crib since he came home from the hospital.
my daughter is a very sound sleeper so it's not too big of a deal to push the uncooperating bassinet around while she's sleeping in it, but other mothers may not be so fortunate.
he loved it so much, as he got older, my daughter had a hard time getting him to sleep in his crib at night.
we use it regularly not only for lying our baby down to sleep, but for storing items we use frequently.
my cats just love sleeping in it right now (it's covered eith a sheet).
it is a great price and my baby comfortable sleeps in it.
the orbit bassinet is a great, stylish part of the entire orbit system, however now that our little one is approaching three months, i'm beginning to feel it is too cramped for him to sleep in at
i also did some traveling with the bassinet and loved knowing that my son was going to sleep well in his familiar surroundings.
we purchased this bassinet for our son to sleep in our room- he used it for 7 weeks and we loved it!!
my daughter loves this bassinet and sleeps in it most every night.
our baby still has a familiar place to sleep when we go out of town.
my daughter would instantly fall asleep when we rock her in it.she loves the lullabys and listens to them intently and calms down even when she's crying.the light is good for checking on her at
this is a great bassinet and my daughter seems to sleep very well in it.
(which is difficult for safety reasons) it from the base and put it in the car and take it where ever you are going, your baby will always have a familar place to sleep when you are away from home.
my daughter is so comfortable in it and sleeps, well, like a baby.
she would fall asleep on my bed no problem, so it wasn't a sleeping issue.
we all want the best for our babies and it's a shame the manufacturer desided that my baby can just sleep on anything!
our little princess sleeps great in the bassinet and it's perfect for her.
our baby loves the bassinet and has been sleeping through the night since she was 10 days old.
(click anywhere inside this popup to close it) madison sleeping in her new basinette.
both of my children have used this crib, my now 3 1/2 year old used this crib when he was a baby, unitl he was 18 months old, and my now 18 month old sleeps in it, and has been since he was a baby.
my youngest is now 21 months old and about 30 lbs...and he still sleeps in it.
i did not see how any child could sleep through the squeaks of this crib.
so now the 20th month old monster is sleeping on a uneven surface until we find a sturdier bed.
it has lasted a year and i am looking into making it into a toddler bed (you just remove a side, but there is now no guard rail to keep your baby from rolling out in her sleep).
i would definitely recommend this crib and can't wait to watch my baby sleeping in it.
it is a really beautiful piece of furniture and i cannot wait until my baby is here so that he can sleep in it.
these errors that we had were no fault to the manufacturer...we would have to blame it on sleep deprivation and seeing it put together with aside of excitement.
we have always put her in the crib to sleep at night and have started to use it for her naps as well.
from the first day we placed him in his crib, he has been sleeping through the entire night; he even takes three naps a day.
our baby girl sleeps soundly in it now!
this crib is well made, very sturdy, very classy looking (everyone loves it the minute they see it!) and my daughter won't sleep in anything else.
the baby is sleeping great in this crib, i'm thrilled with it!
he's been sleeping in it for 6 months.
we assembled it (which was harder than my last crib but not too bad) and my 1.5 year old was to sleep in it until the new baby came.
the drop side also raised & lowered nearly silently (a blessing with a light sleeper).
the baby was two weeks old when it arrived so thank god for other sleeping alternatives.
she had a hard time adjusting to a crib so we ordered this bassinet hoping we'd be able to sleep at night.
his sleeper incline fits perfectly as well.
my baby now sleeps in the crib so i am now using the base of this bassinet as a toy chest.
so far i love this bed, my daughter sleeps great in it and it was easier than i thought it would be to put it together.
my baby isn't here yet but i can't wait to take some pictures of him sleeping soundly in his brand new crib!
