this is a great product to use if you are nursing, since you don't have to get up out of bed multiple times a night.
it's a hell of a lot easier for when my daughter cries in the middle of the night, we hear her right away, because you know, she's right there, defienetly another must-have.
i looked around a lot for a product where i could keep my twins close at night.
i thought i'd want my baby right next to me when we went to bed but unfortunately that only lasted one night before we put him next door in his crib because he is such a loud sleeper we were up
it was a time and lifesaver being able to just roll over at night and feed her.
i used the travel crib last night for the first time and my 4 month old seemed to like it.
before my daughter was born i registered for (and received as a gift) a pack-and-play with all of the bells and whistles: bassinet, changing table, night light, mobile, you name it.
it sets up in seconds (such a great feature for those late night hotel check-ins, no thought involved, just pull out and unfold) and is very comfortable.
we've taken it to florida (no problem checking it, tho now you have to watch your bag limit!) and even tent camping (he slept through the night).
they should sell you a secondary mattress cover in case you need to switch them in the middle of the night, but you can probably get an extra one from the manufacturer.
our daughter slept in it days and nights from the moment she came home from the hospital, until we moved her into her crib at around three months.
i love the stylish look and all of the features of the bassinet - but i have questions about using it at night as a cradle.
the orbit bassinet is a great, stylish part of the entire orbit system, however now that our little one is approaching three months, i'm beginning to feel it is too cramped for him to sleep in at
my baby hasn't actually arrived yet, but i have a 3 year old and remember how much of a pain it was to get up every couple hours in the night and hoist him out of the bassinet.
great product to keep baby close for nighttime feedings and care.
he slept in the co-sleeper exclusively for 3 1/2 to 4 months before we started the transition of sleeping in his crib for naps and eventually at night.
he has outgrown it and it wakes him up when he hits his hands and head on the sides at night.
within two months of usage our baby was hitting his hands, feet and head against the sides awakening him multiple times a night.
because maggie and i were eye level - i would be able to just roll over and check on her several times a night - plus i really think it was soothing to her knowing i was right there by her side.
it is a must have for breast feeding moms because it makes those night feedings so simple.
i wish i had this with my first; it was extremely painful getting up to the nursery several times in the night (and day while recovering in bed) and so made the decision to co-sleep in our king size
just a note (call it coincidence if you will)...my son has slept through the night since, at 2 months, we put him in his crib.
we got the crib yesturday and put it together last night.
we purchased this crib for our baby after looking everywhere including [a baby store].this crib is beautiful and very sturdy.our baby loves it and sleeps in it every night.we had no problems with the
dresser that matches was also a nightmare, first one also came damaged and replacement parts were damaged as well.
my nightmare was since i didn't get any instructions or packing slips, i had a hard time explaing what was missing.
my daughter loves this bassinet and sleeps in it most every night.
her in it.she loves the lullabys and listens to them intently and calms down even when she's crying.the light is good for checking on her at night.the base is good to keep diapers and stuff handy.
the best is the light, especially at night so you do not need to turn on a very bright light.
my daughter would instantly fall asleep when we rock her in it.she loves the lullabys and listens to them intently and calms down even when she's crying.the light is good for checking on her at
i thought that at first, but after my baby was on it a few nights, my fears have diminished greatly.
we wanted to continue to keep our baby in our room until he could sleep through the night, but needed an item with a small foot print.
my only complaint is that the music is nightmare-ish, it sounds out of tune and not appropriate for such a nice bassinet.
our son was born three weeks early at 5 pounds 3 ounces he was in it from the night we came home till he was 3 months old.
i would buy this for every baby shower i go to i bought it for my friend and she loved it...everyone @ the shower loved it and i was center of attention all night...its sturdy, easy to put
my husband and i just assembled the crib last night, so we won't be using it for a few more weeks yet.
the nuts and bolts that hold the crib together are a nightmare to match up.
hubby just put crib together last night.
it took only 2 weeks to arrive, but the packaging was a nightmare.
this has been a nightmare for me!
we have always put her in the crib to sleep at night and have started to use it for her naps as well.
from the first day we placed him in his crib, he has been sleeping through the entire night; he even takes three naps a day.
the color of the wood is beautiful and matches the good night bears bedding perfectly.
my husband and i just put this crib together last night and we love it.
assembly wasn't a nightmare, but it wasn't too easy either.
this time around we decided to do something more moderate because we do not intend on converting the bed into a full size bed (we did with my daughters) so we didn't feel we should spend as
it was not at all easy to assemble for a single mom alone i had to get a friend to help me and we spent the better part of the night putting it together.
who knows, maybe he was just having a bad night...but like i said, now that it's up, we just love, and it looks great in our baby's room!
she had a hard time adjusting to a crib so we ordered this bassinet hoping we'd be able to sleep at night.
just did get this and my and the hubby assembled it last night---only took 15 minutes!
i love the night lite and that it has vibration and music.
when you walk around the bassanet, specially at night time, your foot/ankle hits the wheels and it is very painful.
then, one night, with my 2 month old daughter inside, the frame completly fell to pieces.
we went ahead and put him in the crib the first night because the pediatrican told us it would not hurt him.
we bought this crib last night and it literally took my husband and i less than 15 minutes to assemble!!!
after a few months the side started to drop at random times, such as in the middle of the night, etc...
last night was her first night in this crib, and somehow she managed to get her bottom teeth into the space between the crib rail and the teething guard, she then pulled her head back and pulled two
withstands a very active 1 year old and 2 year old jumping in it half the night!
