i've traveled by plane just with my 10 months old baby most of the time, and this crib is so light, and it's even small enough to fit in my suitcase!
some of the reviews we read made the crib sound small, but it is big enough our baby should be able to use it until he is a toddler.
traveling with the baby bjorn is also great as it's light and small.
it is very small and light weight so i would only recommend it for kids under the age of 1.
i initially thought the crib was small enough to be a carry on.
otherwise, the crib took my husband about 1.5 hours to put together pretty much alone, and although there was a small split in one of the back rails, it looks really nice!
the box was about the size of a crib mattress and about half as wide so it fits easily in the back of a full sized sedan or small suv.
(some of the directions are backwards.) the finish had a few small scuffs on it, but overall this is a quality crib that will grow with our baby.
one small complaint i have about the finish is that it scratches fairly easily.
it did come with a very small dent in the wood on the headboard peice, but it isn't at all noticeable and so i haven't a complaint about that.
it fit in our small bedroom perfectly too.
the sleeper was easy to set up and fits perfectly in our small room next to the bed.
plus this co-sleeper folds up to a really small size, perfect for traveling.
the mini co-sleeper is small enough to fit next to my bedside and still allow us to move around it without bumping into it, and it's big enough to accomodate my newborn twins (for now).
the co-sleeper is great- small enough to fit in a medium-sized bedroom, big enough for a newborn, and with just the right amount of storage space both under the sleeper and with side pockets where we
this crib fits perfectly in our very small condo (623 sq.
i live in a small apartment and this crib fits perfectly.
it is very lightweight and fits in the back of a small suv (4runner) nicely.
we live in a small condo and didn't have room for a full-size crib.
highly recommended for parents with small babies and limited space at home.
but it does not fold up really small like a pack n' play playpen/crib.
we were short on space and needed something small.
we wanted to continue to keep our baby in our room until he could sleep through the night, but needed an item with a small foot print.
i have the original full size co-sleeper and i wish i had the smaller mini co-sleeper because the baby doesn't move around until about 4 months and by then you can put them in the crib on top of that
it is much easier to pack up to take with you on overnights and packs up smaller than the pack n'play.
it is small enough to fit in our tiny 1 bedroom new york apartment.
in fact, we'll be taking it away with us to grandma's house soon and have successfully moved it from room to room in our small city apt without issues.
i prefer it over a pack n' play because you can secure it to the bed, the one side goes down so its easier to reach in, and its much smaller than a standard size pack n' play.
but, once we got it and put it together we were pleased with the exception of a few small dings here and there from shipping.
there was one small ding but it is hidden when the crib is put together.
it has a vast number of plants to choose from and although they are broken down into catagories you will not be able to search for a specific plant and the pictures are small and hard to recognize.
while my husband put together the larger body of the crib, i assisted with the smaller pieces.
pros: pieces fit together nicely, under crib storage, sturdy, drop railing great for short folks cons: assembly instructions confusing, wooden dowel problems, small scratches from shipping
it is narrow enough to fit in our small bedroom between the bed and the wall.
remember, babies are small, and she has no issues with the mattress.
so at any rate, great product, a few small flaws, but really quality where it counts.
i wanted this crib because it was sized between the gigantic sleigh beds i have seen and the smaller ones that look a bit rickety.
the wood is nicely finished and the drawer, although small will help with storage of sheets and such.
we live in a very small town and traveled an hour to the nearest target to purchase this item.
you pull the side up and there are small notches at the bottom that is suppose to hold the rail up.
we found it helpful to use a small flashlight to check if the holes aligned.
* something small, since our "nursery" is not very big (in fact, it's intended to be a laundry room);
one small piece of the drawer was broken when we received it, but it was easily fixed with wood glue.
of the drawer don't show, and while the bottom of the drawer is particle board and not as sturdy as the rest of the crib, once the bottom is in place, it will hold sheets and small toys nicely.
i use it to store the baby's bedding and any small toys.
i would agree that it takes about 1-2 hours to put together, you will need a bed skirt to make sure the contents of the drawer don't show, and while the bottom of the drawer is particle board and not
also, it's not a really bulky crib like so many are these days, so it's ideal for our smaller sized nursery room.
there is one small place on the back corner where the color finish came off, but this is not really noticable unless you are looking for it.
the drawer is a little smaller than i thought it would be but it will still be helpful!
**this one should have been first** there are smaller seperate bags that are for "preassembly" the directions make no mention of them.
we also really liked the drawer on the bottom because we have a small home and that would be a lot of extra storage.
these are all small annoyances and i love the crib anyway!
this crib arrived in good condition with the exception of one small indentation in one of the mattress supports.
everything came in excellent condition with exception of very small sliver missing in from rail that can be fixed with paint.
my only complaint would be that the corner posts have a outward curved design that takes up more space in my small nursery.
also, one small piece came broken, and there was a chip in the wood.
we were originally going to put it in our bedroom for when we bring our little girl home but it was a little big (we have smaller bedrooms).
it collapses to a very small size.
the bassinet was just too small & confined.
the design of this cosleeper is ideal for anybody who wants to cosleep and is afraid of crushing the child, does not have room in the bed, or wants a system that will make it easy to "wean" the kid
we have moved since the first one and our place is much smaller.
the crib is heavier and larger than it looks so if you have a ery small room, it may not be the best fit for you.
it was wonderful that we didn't have to mess around with screws and small parts as everything was already screwed into the sides, you just need to snap all the pieces into their spots.
it's sleek lines are not too overpowering for the small bedroom it goes in.
that's a small price to pay to ensure the safety of your child, even if it is just for a short year or less.
i had applied very little pressure, my baby and i are very small people!
