This crib was very well packaged! After reading several reviews on cribs that were damaged during transit I decided that DaVinci was one brands that people had less problems with. I ordered this on a Monday afternoon and it was to my front door on Thursday (and that was the free super saver shipping).
our only complaint is that it has holes on the front bottom for the expandable full size bed.
the crib we had originally wanted had gone on back order and we needed a replacement before the baby was born.
the color is more of an antique white versus a true white, but this does not bother me and matches the bedding just fine.

Sits low to the ground and has no moving rails, so it is very sturdy for my 18mth old jumping bean! I have a Ra.gazzi crib as well, and this is extremely comparable in quality. The ONLY thing I wish MDB/DaVinci did was add caps for the holes after you screw the parts together. I don't really like seeing the screws/holes in plain sight, but it's a small price to pay for such a quality, convertible item as this price!
This crib is very sturdy and is very good quality. The description says it's white and it's NOT.
This was exactly what my wife and i were looking for. it included all the necessary parts to assemble it.
