Best Computer Speakers for Living Room

i purchased these speakers to create surround music in my kitchen and living room area.

i have great recetion in my backyard patio and in my neighbor's living room.

i have it hooked up through my receiver with the headphones jack, so i have surround sound in the living room and the wireless speakers elsewhere.

living room and quality of sound is about right for the price.

very happy with the purchase :) volume is loud too and i could hear the music clearly from the living room with speakers hooked up in the study).

i use them on my desk at work, and they are certainly enough for a living room that isn't huge.

they get loud enough to fill our living room/house with sound.

they pale in comparison to my component system in the living room but the listening experience is more like that than it is like the macbook speakers, if that makes sense.
