Best Computer Speakers for Ear

i have had problems getting a balance between the front and rear sound levels.

you need to have a sound card that has at least 3 output jacks for the sound (front, center/sub, and rear) to fully use this product.

the biggest con of all though is the cables - this is supposed to be surround sound, what good is it only being able to put the rear satellites 6 feet behind you!

gaming has become intense as well thanks to the red and white in the back making it easy to plug my 360 in.got it for a gift...probably the best gift i got this christmas ^-^ cons: rear cords

i needed the rear speakers longer and i just went to radio shack and twisted some speaker wire together and violla extra 50 ft.

do take note that for surround sound with movies/games, your computer will have to have discrete outputs for the rear, front, center, and subwoofer.

it has a decent wireless remote, which controls the center, rear and sub-woofer volume.

long cords for the rear, decent sub, cheap remote with placeable receiver....it'll do.

in this day of advanced surround sound technology, it seems to be getting impossible to find a good computer sound system that does not include rear speakers which are often difficult, if not

heavy for a desktop set-up, but that concession is understandable considering how the srs trusurround is designed to recreate the fuller experience of center and rear speakers with just the two.

additional thoughtsthese speakers are great for those situations where you do not have spots for rear speakers to stand/sit/mount.the remote adds a nice touch to make it go well with the wireless

without rear speakers, nobody can reproduce surround sound other than bose, in my own experience.

i plugged up the rear ports with foam and that made it sound less annoying, but i didn't like the sound.

i would have given fives across the board if you could turn these speakers on with the remote.i am using these for my rear speakers on a 5.1 system.
