and the music sounds great on these if you know how to use an equalizer.

you can adjust the equalizer to get a good balance, but then the richness of the bass is compromised.

if you have an equalizer you can correct the problem.

if you setup your sound card equalizer and other settings well, the sound is awesome.

you have to really mix and match a bit with the equalizers on your computer to find a balance that sounds good.

better than the logitech x-530s they replaced(and the x-530 are pretty nice upper entry level speakers, especially for the price now...) try these settings if you got an x-fi sound card: ---bass-

i really enjoy listening to music on these speakers, they sound great when they are fine tuned through an equalizer.

i found using the equalizer function on winamp brought up the bass response nicely, but still not to floor shaking levels.

i was satified with the sound and the ease of adjusting sound without having to deal with equalizer settings etc.

yes, i did have to tweak the equalizer a bit (high end response is really there; i also massaged the bass a little), but that was all.

i cant find anything bad about this but they could have at least added a subwoofer controller to controll the bass but lets just leave that to your equalizers.

these speakers (i've had for 6 months) have terrible balance and it cannot be fixed even with an equalizer (on itunes app) parts of bass are great, other frequencies don't exist.
