Best Computer Speakers for Center

the only thing i overlooked when purchasing is that it has 4 plugs into the computer, woofer, front speakers, rear speakers, and center speaker.

another nice feature is the center speaker, you can put it on top of your lcd monitor, and it fits ok on my 24' gateway.few things i did not like about it, the cords are hardwire in and are too short

i got a 24"" lcd, and the center speaker sits nicely on the top (though you don't need to pop it on a monitor).

the center speaker trick to let it mount on top of your lcd monitor is a great touch.

it allows program specific setting for volume/bass/treble/center/surround.

these speakers are great and the media center remote is just icing on the cake.

the remote is really geared toward windows media center which imo, sucks but still provides plenty of other functionality.

they play a lot louder with window media player than with media center for some reason!

the output is somewhat similar to my $2500 entertainment center speakers (i'm not kidding).

i like my hp laptop with ms media center except for its puny speakers.

add in the base coming out of the center unit, and you have a system that will make your music and games sound like you're right there.
