oustanding surround sound and bass quality.
"pros:- nice, simple design- wireless remote control is nice to have- usb functionalitycons:- weight...
the are a llittle heavy but i but once in my backpack i can transport with no issues.
i also have a desktop computer with 5.1 surround sound speakers and these speakers are as clear as those.
i had all sorts of computer speakers over the years , including my phillips surround sound home stereo hooked up to my computer, and these computer speakers by logitech deliever some of the best
I bought these at Fry's for $67.00 thinking this was a good purchase (Creative X-Fi you can't go wrong?) Well think again!
My main reason for purcahsing these speakers was to not have to deal with any power cords, since these Creative speakers attach via USB cord only.
From my perspective, the best reason to use Creative's software would be to record VOIP telephone conversations, as my VOIP device shows up in their audio management software as a a cd drive/recording source.
One must first activate the Creative Speaker program.
Pros: Great sound and can get surprisingly loud
the speakers are not portable, and require a wall outlet to function.
no, i don't mean they give you a clear surround sound effect, i mean they have about a full second delay from the tv to the speakers.
the cable from the right speaker to the left is about 25 feet long - a bizarrely long connection for such small speakers - and unless you want to splice it, you're going to have a rat's-nest tangle
this product seems ideal for a surround sound system or similar "in room" application.
they are small, sounds great and easy to setup.
the presentation of this set is tough to beat if you're looking for portable, usb powered amplifier speakers.
the usb just plugs into the docking station.
just plug into any usb port and the computer will install the drivers for it (windows vista).
they will travel well in your laptop case, as long as it's big enough.
very acceptable quality for such small speakers.
Altec Lansing makes excellent computer speakers.
lots of volume, excellent controls and easy set up.
SOUND IS GREAT THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE POWER LIGHT ON THE SPEAKER STOP WORKING I CAN LIVE WITH THAT ON TIME DELIVER GOOD
I've only had these speakers for a few days but I'm totally happy with the quality and sound.
I purchased these computer speakers a few weeks ago and I have really enjoyed them.
Overall a good buy to upgrade the sound of my students' multi-media presentations in my classroom and to replace those dreadful come with the PC speakers.
When I clicked the link in the magazine article, it led me to Amazon, where I not only found the Hercules item, but found that it was also the most reasonably priced speaker system Amazon sells.
Pros: 2.1?Dock?Bass is ok.
Other Thoughts: Bigger, 2.1 sound for a bigger price than typical desktop speakers.
Other Thoughts: I was looking to replace some off-brand 2.1 speakers I had that were getting annoying.
After listening to all I could possibly stand from my cheap acer built-in speakers, I broke down and bought these mini speakers.
I am completely satisfied with the product itself as well as the fast shipping and good packaging.
Small light weight speakers with a travel case.
These speakers are awesome!
They are a must if you enjoy watching movies or DVDs on a laptop-HP Mini Notebook Speakers - Black (NN109AA#ABA) For the price they are very high quality.
they are compact and fit nicely on my desk in my dorm room.
they are very compact and take up little space.
small and inexpensive, but these speakers are amazing.
these speakers are tiny (so they take up little desk space) and cheap.
the sound is what you might expect from small, inexpensive speakers.
i used to bring heavy book end speakers back and forth to class.
despite their small size, the sound was rather good.
bass and treble sound was pretty impressive for the size.
and the sound is clear and plenty loud (a big improvement over some of the tinny small speakers i have used and even the cassette players i used a couple years ago).
but still, you might want to carry them with you for portable use.
I just brought this on Jan, 09.
I ordered the Inspire 6200's to replace my old Cambridge Soundworks 4.1 speakers that were really good in their day but getting outdated.
I was looking for something that wouldn't take up too much desktop space and, since I've always liked Creative Labs products, decided to give this system a go.
They include: Creative Labs Inspire t5400, Creative Labs Inspire T2900, Bose Companion 2 Series II multimedia speaker system, and the Creative t3200.
Pros: I have been using a makeshift 4.1 surround sound for probly the last year now.
After using my monitor speakers for a while, the minute I plugged these little guys in I heard a noticeable difference right away!
But these plastic "speakers" were actually worse - I couldn't yank them out of the audio jack fast enough.
I bought these speakers bacause my old powered speakers made horrible noise with my cell phone anywhere nearby.
After my kitten chewed the wires of my old speakers I was looking for speakers that could boost the sound of my laptop.
So, what I really wanted from these little speakers was to be able to listen to iTunes every once in a while, and watch assorted videos online (YouTube, Video.
This speaker system was a pleasant surprise.
Pros: Adjustable bass level.
Pros: Better than expected sound...
Pros: Great, sound goes really high, has a good look, can produce a lot of bass.
Pros: I needed a decent small and fairly inexpensive speaker system for my new computer.
I purchased the Altec Lansing inMotion SoundBlade Bluetooth A2DP speakers from Amazon.
I was a little nervous to purchase the Altec Lansing Soundblade, because Bluetooth is a relatively new technology for me.
ilove my new bluetooth speakers thay work very very well and thay get good and loud and sound very nice to when thay get up loud thay are easy to make work no prob thanx
Just received this SoundBlade and am very happy with it.
Over the past month I have owned/compared the Yamaha NX-B02, Parrot Party, and Altec Lansing Soundblade (Amazon's return policy makes it easy).
title: best for it's size
prosnice and portable.
compact, durable, good sound quality, powerful best uses:
it's light, compact and sturdy.
Bad designed since the USB have to be connected in a ridiculos and very difficult to reach palce: inside the battery comparment!
easy install, convenient shape and size, and little wiring.
if your looking fo some easy to use starter speakers or just want to have sound on your pc, these speakers are for you.
sound is ok, style and size are perfect.
but, i put these behind my monitor most of the time and i love the big volume knob, i can just reach around and adjust it.
the volume control knob is large and i like that.
big time gamers that want big base should upgrade.
and most important they are not susceptible to interference from my huge monitor and powerful computer electronics.
the only problem, and a minor one at that, is that they are a little lightweight and tip over easy.
small in size and weight, good sound.
they should have added some weight to the base or put rubber feet on them to keep them from sliding around on the desktop.
these speakers are compact, they sound great (love the bass!), and i couldn't believe the price.
I needed speakers for my pc but I didn't have a lot of space for them.
Just got the Logitech LS21 2.1 Stereo Speaker System yesterday.
Despite what it says above and on Logitech's own website, it only has the 3.5mm plug to be plugged into the 'out' of a PC sound card.
I wasn't satisfied with the sound of my laptop's built-in speakers, so I was looking for good-looking speakers at a low cost (student budget) that sound great and don't take up too much space.
the idog amp'd is a bit large for it so the strap that is in the bag to keep it from falling out doesn't go around the idog amp'd.
this item was a big hit this christmas!
someone gave this to me for christmas because i'm a huge dog person and kind of a "gadget girl" too.
big mistake!
Bought this for my son for Christmas gift since it was sold out in all stores in my area.
Could use some more bass on the low end, but generally they produce nice, loud, crisp sounds.
I am very satisfied with these speakers.
I have used these for computer speakers, at mid to low volume and in a somewhat enclosed area.
I haven't been happy with a pair of desktop speakers since I had to give up the Harmon Kardon eyeballs that went with my old G4.
So what does JBL have to offer with the Duet II Desktop Speaker System?
when spliced into a surround sound type setup, this product really delivers...from cd's to internet radio to dvd's all from my computer i wouldn't trade it for anything...
when i watch movies on my laptop, it feels like i have surround sound with iconcept speaker system.
the ad read that theses speakers produce 800watts of power.
For the price its good but dont get fooled by the power its lists.
For the price paid, it's not a bad system.
