wires on speakers are pretty cheap, might fray easily, but if you're planning to keep them relatively stationary, which you should because it's a large set of speakers, then you'll be just fine.

i was quite impressed, and am still impressed with these speakers, they're not super high quality so don't expect them to be, but they give you 5.1 surround sound with decent bass for a great price.
