Just got this speaker system and I didn't know what to expect for the price but for computer speakers these sound very good once I figured out there was a treble controle on the side. I have primium stereo equipment and I like the deep base and crisp highs these speakers produce. from Compusa.com Its a pity that Altec Lansing stopped this system. This is great. from Amazon.com So I found this unit after reading lots of reviews about a year ago. He took it to work and it out played his co worker's ipod version that was twice the price of this unit. His co worker couldn't believe he only spent 33.00 on this speaker system and wanted to buy one himself. My husband hooks his $60.00 Sansa Fuze to it and can listen to fm radio at work as well as his Rhapsody downloaded playlists. from Amazon.com I tried several small speaker systems & was just not too thrilled with any of them. I bought the VS2221 used a year ago and use them for large classroom multimedia presentation speakers, and I purchased the VS2421 for home use and for Garage Band.
