I bought this for a Media Center in the bedroom. I was somewhat dissapointed with the sound quality. from Amazon.com I had a Dell sound-bar and was happy with it, but the sound was a bit thin. It lacked bottom end. People's voices on TV, for example, where a bit tinny. The Altec Lansing definitely has better bottom-end. from Amazon.com I bought the SoundBar to improve the poor sound quality on an otherwise excellent 22" Toshiba HDTV in my study. If you do not have 3-4 inches underneath your monitor then this will not fit, but if you have enough space like i do then the speaker will look fine in front of the monitor not only does this product have aesthetic appeal but the blue light when you turn the speaker on is not annoying when turned on. from Amazon.com
