eve is not so much an rpg as it is a vast strategy game.
that said, the game is an online game, it is called mmorpg, massive multiplayer online role playing game.
you can mine asteroids and sell the resultant product for money and become rich, or you can fly combat ships and kill npcs and become rich, or you can fly combat ships and kill other players and
if you don't want you child hanging around with adults don't buy this game.
each mmo may be running many servers or shards simultaneously, and each server or shard is a separate copy of the game.
this game is so addictive, my 4 yr old son, husband, and 62 yr old mother all love playing it.
santa brought this for christmas for our 7 year old and not only does he play it, his 4 year old sister, mom and dad are all avid players.
my husband and i both love this game.
really fuuny game, either adult or kids, especially we love to buy fish and equipment!!
i purchased it for my wife and she loves it!
of course "mileage will vary", but in our case, my wife is totally addicted to this clever, fast moving puzzle game.
it can be played for fun or you can challenge yourself to get to different levels.
my wife really loves cradle of rome on the ds and has spent many hours playing it!
i like it better than puzzle quest because (a) there are 100 different level designs (screens) and (b) if you fail to complete a level, on your next chance you start with a different arrangement of
- the graphics are clearer, making it easier to play.
comes with 2 [10-day] guest passes, game manual and a product catalog booklet.
wrath of the lich king keeps it going and develops many key areas beyond the scope of what could originally be imagined when we were first introduced to the game.
so i figured that even though i wasn't really looking forward to getting into the game again, at least i'd have the fun social aspect of it.
the game itself merits 4 stars, i would give it 5, but the complete lack of anything remotely difficult for the first 3 months of the game is not good, despite the polish of the content that does
with the new character of a death knight it also brings new abilities and such to the game.
the bottom line: if you have any interest in computer rpgs, buy fallout.
graphics somewhat dated.
the game wasteland has been considerd by many to be the classic computer based rpg, it was mad max meets terminator.
however, it's a pretty hard game to beat, with a lot of combat and not many situations you can talk your way out of.
the post-apocalyptic storyline after wwiii is great along with the character creation and all the npcs in the game make it a sure hit.
it changes from a ring to a hand when you can manipulate something in the game, and that can be used as a cheat to help you figure out what you need to do.
events send her east to a russian type land in search of mamoths.
i carefully peeled off all stickers and while there are no tears, etc.
the story line is a quest, part 1 find someone, part 2 find someplace.
The games Syberia I and II are beautiful to look at, almost worth buying for the art work alone, but the games are fun too.
there is no crazy drm that limits how many times you can install the game, and steam provides good support with the product so far.
other thoughts: to those asking why there arn't children its because the esrb, and how unethical it would be to kill a child, even if its a video game.
the class-based aspect of the infected makes playing that side probably the funner of the two, but it's a very entertaining game playing as the survivors (it alternates, as well).
too often, a game will boast that it has online content and multiplayer options and then only wind up giving you some sort of vs.
-i imagine after owning this game for a very long time, unless the content is updated often (which it should be), i can see some of the levels becoming stale.
it took me several weeks to finish the game but i wasn't playing it every day by any means - it would be hard to guess how many actual hours entertainment.
since your character never "dies," it's a low frustration game for my two younger kids, but also has enough hidden tricks and challenges to entertain my older kids and my husband.
though the game is rather short, only eighteen levels, and they aren't especially challenging, though some of the puzzles take a little effort, there's enough items to collect and characters to
it's a great game because the puzzles are aimed at kids, and allows for two players to play together.
this game rocks for all ages, my son 4 loves it, and so do i.
Bought this bundle of Nancy Drew games to play with my daughter (age 9) during the rainy winter months.
I can't get enough Nancy Drew Games there so much fun and I'm 3 games away from having all 19 games and will be waiting for the new one it's never soon enough.
I like a lot of the mystery games and I think that so far nancy drew and agatha chrisi are the best.
I only wish they would release all the earlier Nancy Drew games like this.
This is a great value for all the games you get.
Men of War puts you in the shoes of Russian, American and German forces during the height of World War II.
fantastic, you can complete your mission any way you want.gameplay is simple, graphics are great, highly reccomend this game.
Good gameplay, very diverse unit selection for all armies.
Having played Soldiers: Heroes of WWII I kind of knew what to expect.
I bought this game digitally on a impulse buy because there was a half off sale...
After reading all the reviews I was excited to get this game.
combination of hidden object and puzzle solving.
great game lots to find not to hard but interesting glad i got it grandson likes it too so double fun
I have played this game several times now and when it reaches a certain point in retrieving the roses (second to last one if I remember correctly - you have to paint using the paint brush tool) my game will not allow me to continue.
The graphics were exceptional.
I'm aware of the fundamental difference between the Microsoft and X-plane simulators and enjoy both at times.
As a former Microsoft Flight Sim pilot, I would like to second the opinions expressed so well by John Allen in his review dated October 15, 2008.
It is aimed at the side of the FS market that values flight model and general physical modeling over visual aspects of the sim, though this is getting more attention as the X-Plane lineage matures.
So, I bought Flight Simulator X Deluxe Addition and the Acceleration expansion...and I bought X-Plane 9 since it seemed like the only competition out there.
Great job to X-PLANE and the customer service department.
A wonderful add on to the fantastic game Fallout 3.
Broken Steel does for Fallout 3 what the Extended Editions did for Lord of the Rings: by adding more and deeper content it makes you care more and feel like things have properly been resolved.
Lots of new areas and quests, plus you can go up to level 30.
I've been pleased with the DLCs that Fallout 3 has come out with.
If Fallout 3 is your game the ad-on will not disappoint.
Gave this as a christmas gift.
Guild Wars has many excellent gaming experiences to offer!
Guild Wars, in all it's incarnations, is by far the best MMORPG I've ever played.
Difficult Quest,Often forcing you to group with the morons listed above.
I had been wanting to get in to MMORPG's for a long time, but hated the fact that you had to pay a monthly fee.
this is much more accurate than it seems, and i have learned after many plays that you can easily ace this game.
get this game if you loved those carnival games as a kid...it might just bring back some memories.
i bought this game for my daughter and she loves it.
the 2nd day after christmas my grandma and grandpa started playing it too, and my mom started playing it as well!
not only is it fun for an adult, my daughters are enjoying it, too.
All i can say is ( its about time ) ..finally..we have an adventure game that hits on every cylinder.
What caught my eye was that the artist of Curse of Monkey Island worked on this so I purchased it.
Boy, is this a drag.
For an old time fan of Monkey Island, Vampyre Story scratches a very old itch just in the right place.
Game about Vampires and the like.
yet, it's easy to get into and you do really get the feeling that you, one humble man [or woman], is guiding the path of a mighty [or meek] civilization.
Civ is one the the greatest games ever made.
I just got this game and installed it on my vista computer just to have it not put the individual game icons on my desktop and it did not put a game folder in the programs folder.
For me it's too much pain verse any fun.
Well, it had been out for a few years, and the "bang for buck" factor was certainly there, so I thought I'd dump more money into Civilization games because I so want to be able to enjoy them.
Buy Fate: Undiscovered Realms.
Good game for the price.
Strategy is needed and will keep you coming back for more.
Part was received in a timely manner and in very good condition.
It's too bad, because I was really looking forward to playing it.
7 WONDERS 3 is a challenging game with all the whistles and bells.
A NEW TWIST ON THE OTHER TWO 7 WONDER GAMES.
Similar to other 7 Wonders games, but has different wonders and you can go back and retrace your steps.
I have all the previous versions of 7 Wonders.
I have all three 7 Wonders games and this is, by far, the easiest of the three.
Every way the game was really creepier and scarier atleast for me.
The controls are poorly executed, sluggish, clunky, and very annoying.
I had rented this game for the xbox360 and was genuinely interested in getting the game for the PC as that is in my opinion a better format for personal customization, mods, and simply the fun factor.
Dead Space is ripe with problems as are all other PC games now.
You are going to a mining ship that needs repair, then you get attacked by an unknown force.
