The company only allows the use ok CD key once, so if you buy a used version without first talking with the previous user and obtaining his steam account and password, you will not be able to use the game. Second, the game is generally no different from the other total war games so I suggest you just keep playing rome total war or medival 2 total war. from Amazon.com I LOVE the Total War series and have every other title they've made.
