I played the game for two years now extensively. This new release is great but the online upgrades to it have been much better also. from Amazon.com Wrath of the Lich King is the third component to World of Warcraft and requires the primary World of Warcraft, and first expansion Burning Crusade. This expansion allowed players access to a new continent as well as additional leveling (up to level 80.) WOW players will require this expansion to reach maximum levels in character, profession, etc. from Amazon.com I started playing WoW with my husband a little over a year ago. I found that the Classic was lovely and entertaining but I really wasn't impressed with the Burning Crusade expansion. Wrath of the Lich King(wotlk) has beautiful graphics, tons and tons and tons of 3-d interactive content to explore, new items to collect, new quests to complete, new dungeons, raids, bosses, etc etc etc. from Newegg.com The specific World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack I bought corrupted the files on my Mac and made World of Warcraft stop working. I had to uninstall all World of Warcraft files, and reinstall them via the internet. from Amazon.com WotLK is a great expansion to WoW, until the N00bs, huntards, and other likewise terribad players complained until it became EZ-mode. I preordered Lich King, then stopped playing after I hit 80 because the content was just to patheticly easy to play through. from Amazon.com
