After playing through nwn1 My nephew and I were eagerly awaiting the chance to try the 2nd. Mask was a little disappointing though. from Amazon.com Pros: 1) Texture Depth On All Tile-Sets Is Very High2) Visual Effects are Fantastic3) Uses An "Improved" Version of The NWN 1 Engine4) Revisits the Forgotten Realms and NeverWinter City5) Offers About 10 Hours of Actual Gaming on Main Quest Cons: 1) Buggy (They're STILL patching...:)2) Serious Resource Hog (Need Fast GPU & CPU, or Lag)3) AI is spotty and shows effect of program memory leaks4) Loot Drops are a joke (biggest drops are end of game!)5) Voice acting and (especially!) narration are sub-par6) Incomplete development ( most large plot segments are simply story-boarded, rather than screened, or played...lol )7) Many areas are static, offering little player interaction with the environment.8) Obisidian, NOT Bioware developed this version (and it shows in overall lower QC)9) Plays more like a premium module, rather than a new version of NWN. Other Thoughts: If you're a fan of the genre then NWN2 is a "must have". from Newegg.com
