First off, this game catches a lot of flack for being a "Game for Windows Live." You do not need to sign up for GfWL to play the game, you can easily just make an offline account and be done with it. You won't get achievements, but oh well. from Amazon.com IF you get to play it. Rockstar has put up so many hurdles to actually install the game successfully that I almost gave up after 3 hours or so. After you get past all the required, yet utterly useless software (Securom, Games for Windows LIVE, Rockstar Social Club) you may get to play what is an amazing game. After installation, it took around 15 minutes to set up Windows Live and Rockstar Games Social Club accounts, an update to Windows Live for PC and I was all set.
