Best Coffee Makers for Carafe Style

We previously had a Mr Coffee insulated carafe style coffeemaker which we very much preferred over the glass kind that sits on a burner - we like the coffee to stay warm over a few hours, but don't like the burnt taste that sitting on a burner gives.

This was our first time using a carafe style coffee maker and we will never go back to a traditional burner style coffee maker.

No hot plate needed with carafe style maker to keep the coffee warm.

Being parrot owners we stick to the carafe style because the normal makers with the hotplates can be deadly to pet birds due to the PTFEs in the nonstick surface on the warming plate, and this unit fits the bill perfectly!
