it looks great, it's not noisy like many other single serve coffeemakers, and it makes a great cup of coffee.
the only cons i can think of are that it is a bit noisy when it pulls the water into the heating element bit before and after a brew, but no big deal really--and it does tend to splatter tiny drops
the only criticism is that it is somewhat noisy as it is brewing the coffee.
good looking product but louder than my 3 other keurig machines, this is why only 4 stars.
i heard about these coffee makers being noisy and i was a little concerned about that before i bought it.
am pretty happy with it....**but** for some reason the makers must think i'll forget that i was making coffee because they felt the need to have a terribly loud alarm when it has finished brewing.
the finish beep could be annoying, it is pretty loud, but i know from any point in my small home that the coffee is ready.
the only negative thing i would say about it is that it has a loud beeping upon completion of its brewing cycle.
the beeping when the coffee is done brewing is loud.
the best part is the base of the coffee pot does not get hot and the coffee maker itself turns off and sounds a beep when the coffee is done.
users found this review helpful pros: nice looking, easy to use and clean, great tasting hot coffee cons: loud brewing cycle have had several other coffee makers, cuisinarts and brauns, that
the only minus is that it is louder than most, but not a problem.
weaknesses: a bit noisy summary: this unit was purchased to replace a krups 229, which failed to shut off after 2 years of use.
a little noisy.
it keeps the coffee hot, it brews quickly (if a little noisy), and it doesn't spill all over the place.
just wish it kept the coffee warmer a little longer and the high beep sound was loud enough for my elderly husband to hear.other than that, it makes great coffee, easy to operate and look great in my
our previous machine was a grind and brew cuisinart and although it made great coffee, it was soooooooo loud and too many parts to clean each day.
this machine is great, its quiet, easy to clean and it looks great on your counter.
it is relatively quiet and fast, as well as easy to operate.
it sounds kind of dorky, but when people talk about making coffee or drinking coffee, i have to tell them all about my cuisinart as if i'm a proud parent bragging about my child's a+ report card!
it's just loud, otherwise it's works excellent and the coffee taste excellent as well.
it is really loud as it is grinding though, and it grinds the beans a little to fine for my liking, but overall great coffee maker.
the grinder is really loud and it wakes me up before the smell of the coffee hits the bedroom.
this one has only a couple of parts, makes a great pot of coffee, is quieter, easier to clean...and i hope it lasts for years to come.
a little noisy for a minute during grind time but i like it because i am getting up for work and a great cup of coffee.
noisy...it was not an issue for me until my wife and i realized that our 1 year old woke up at the same time in the morning when i make my coffee.
as noisy as any coffee making process, manual/auto.
as others have noted, it is a bit on the noisy side.
i read a few reviews that complained about how loud it is.
the grinder is really loud, but hey, it's supposed to be waking us up in the morning.
weaknesses explained: 1) it's loud.
quiet machine.
it makes the standard sounds while brewing, but nothing extra when its finished like some coffee makers that keep making "puffing sounds".
it's much quieter than other single serve brewers i've seen.
not much of an issue really.when brewing, it's a little noisy but not a problem for me.
i buy a lot of cappuccino in the winter and when i saw this product, i thought hmmm sounds like it might be a good idea.
i love this product except that it is much louder than the cocomotion i used to have.
- it is not noisy at all.
this thing is pretty quiet, very easy to use, and clean-up is very simple.
i'll also mention that it is a quieter machine than the other brands we've tried, but the fact that it doesn't froth is important to us.
there is another review that makes it sound like it really hard to use.
two small things: it is kind of loud, so hope my roommate doesn't mind.
frothing is a bit slow and noisy, but it's there if you really need it.
pros: price, performance, speed, quiet, taste, size cons: no cons for me!
yes, it is a bit loud but makes a hot drink safe and fast without having to boil water.
it is a little loud.
it is loud, but i put my ingrediants in and then go and take a shower so i don't really hear it.
yes, it's loud.
the only draw backs are: 1)it's liitle loud and 2) cleaning it.
the cleanup is nice, it's really not loud at all and most importantly it makes a great pot of coffee.
when it was brewing it made loud gurgling noises and emitted steam (which was ruining the finish on the cupboard above it.) coffee was ok, nothing spectacular.
also, it sometimes gets loud when the water heater section turns on.
i have used several other coffee makers in the last 15 years-most have clocks, annoying beeping sounds, features i'll never use, special filters and designs that make them difficult to clean.
the fan to reheat just added water is quiet and non noticeable unless you are right next to it, and even then is just a light humm sound.
it brews quick and quiet.
i purchased this coffeepot for my office and it is cardinal red, efficient, quiet, and makes a terrific cup of coffee.
i bought this coffee pot because it's supposed to be quiet.
but i love how quiet it is and is so easy to fill and pour.
the red color give a touch up to "my feng shui kitchen", and it works perfect, it is not noisy and i don't have anything to complain about.
i got this as a present last christmas, 2006, and have used it daily ever since.i like that the coffee grinder is quiet, efficient, and tucked nicely into the machine.
this little device grinds the perfect amount for 6 cups (3-4 mugs) in just a few seconds, it is not loud and does not struggle to grind the beans.
the grinder and coffee maker are both reasonably quiet.
the grinder isn't very loud at all, which is great, the water reservoir lifts out for easy filling at the sink, also great, my sister makes tea all the time and loves how the tea tastes because of
so we looked at all the options on amazon and thought the sanyo sounded like a better coffee maker.
the brewing is quite fast but somewhat louder than i expected.
very quiet.
the only drawback to this appliance is that it is a noisy brewer.
this coffee maker seems very noisy.
i had been using a grind and brew machine for several years and had stopped making coffee in the morning because it was too loud at 5am and i had to clean 6 parts after each use.
on the minus, it does make a bit of noise when it heats up, but the grinder on our coffee maker was loud as well.
the pump is a little loud, but it doesn't bother me at all.
other reviewers have remarked that it's a bit noisy, but i don't agree.
tassimo is a loud machine, that produces subpar coffee and has a very limited selection to choose from.
long story short: great tasting, quick, quiet coffee from a somewhat overpriced machine -- but if it lasts 20 years i'll take back the overpriced part!
it makes a great pot of coffee, and is quiet and efficient in its work.
this is a quick, quiet machine with very hot coffee.
the manual is well written and the machine is easy to program.it is very quiet and typically takes 6 to 8 minutes to brew depending on how fine you grind your coffee.
it's easy to use and program, is quiet while brewing, and looks great on your countertop.
sounds complicated but it works quite well.
top notch machine, not too loud.
there was a loud pop then water began to gush out everywhere.
it quietly does its job.
great coffee maker, very easy to clean, fast, quiet, efficient, durable, and it even has a large bright digital clock.
it sizzles when it contacts the warmer plate, which is an unsettling sound, and it collects on the counter top ...
it is very loud when it's making coffee, though.
the machine brews quickly and quietly until is gets to the end of the cycle, when it spits, pops, and steams louder and longer than any machine we've had.
noise level is about average, you can hear it brewing, but it's doesn't sputter loudly when done.
i have not noted a problem with the filter basket release button nor do i find it excessively noisy like some buyers have noted on similar kf590's.
the coffee maker is loud during brewing and it occasionally drips when pouring a cup.
