i smell the brew in the morning (it has a start timer) and just in case i don't wake up on time, the coffee is still fresh, piping hot and it stays hot in the attractive stainless steel pot.

(we've never tried the automatic timing setup, but presumably it works.) decent looking carafe, suitable for pouring dinner coffee to guests, especially since the system makes 12 cups.

i like that it has a timer to program for morning starts and it also has a great feature i have never had before...a beeper to let me know when the coffee is done.

we enjoy the timer and the fact that the coffee stays hot much longer than other coffee makers we have had with a thermal carafe.

the timer feature is nice also, and we can set it to make cofffee before we ever wake up in the morning (just be careful with this because it 'beeps' after done brewing, so be sure you won't wake
