Best Coffee Makers for Home

there is only one coffee drinker in this household.

i wanted a small pot, since i am the only coffee-drinker in my household, and as i mentioned earlier, i prefer to brew one cup at a time.

if several people in a household or small office are using this, especially with ground coffee, the whole process becomes slow and not practical.

with most household machines, either the coffee is too bitter, too lukewarm, or just plain tasteless, even when i use freshly-ground premium beans (like starbucks, millstone, gloria jeans, or better).

my husband loves his coffee; and, this is the best household use coffee maker we have owned.

this fairly expensive machine was bought to replace a 10-cup braun coffee maker with a thermal carafe, the idea being that the 12-cup cuisinart carafe would be useful in a household that drinks

but, i live in an old farmhouse where nothing is standard, so i'm sure my cabinets are not at the standard height of most households.
