we purchased our first coffee maker at a dept store on sale and were looking for a second carafe when my daughter (who has shopped online before) recommended that i purchase it through overstock.com.
i bought this one for my mom because her old coffee pot and craft just broke after buying mine on sale at a department store .
will cleanup the old cuisinart and sell at a garage sale.
i bought this coffee maker at macy's on a super sale for $49.95 and i couldn't be happier, makes the coffee fast and keeps it hot for hours!!!
we have had lower cost glass carafe units for years but after our last mr coffee konked out we wanted to try out a stainless carafe unit - we almost bought a sale priced b&d unit at target but
i got it on sale for $69.99, and i figure even if it only lasts a year, i got my money's worth of espresso.
but starbucks gets expensive, so when i saw this one on sale for $59.99 i figured all it needed to do was make 20 decent drinks to pay for itself.
overall, this machine is a tremendous value for under $100 (mine was $75 on sale).
if you shop sales on amazon and sign up for auto shipping you can get coffee and tea for 34 to 50 cents a cup in k-cup format but will spend 55 cents to 1.10 per cup for t-disc beverages.
late last year, i found this machine at a linens & things closeout sale for 1/3 off retail....no regrets.
the price was $152.00 cheaper than macy's plus there was no sales tax or shipping charges.
calling for a #3 (which doesn't exist) has to be a typo, which must have cost a lot of sales lost--because i went looking for a #3 before ordering, didn't find it, and decided to 'deal with it'
as said before this model has been upated for us sales with a #4 filter, not a #3 as their website offers.
very inexpensive when on sale.
i am going to donate this to my church's rummage sale and hopefully someone else can use it.
pros: it was on sale and it was this coffeemaker.
ok so i read many of the reviews complaining about this coffee maker but in the end caught a good sale and bought it.
i picked this up when it was offered on a fri sale for~$50.
i purchased this from amazon over a year ago, when it was on sale for around 90 dollars.
for me, this outweighs any of the minor design issues, and for the sale price that amazon frequently offers, it was a no-brainer for me when considering other similarly priced units.
i certainly wouldn't pay list price for it, but for the $60 i paid for it on during amazon's one-day sale it's afantastic buy.
so after careful review i decided on a gaggia platinum swing while it was on sale.
i didn't buy this from amazon (my normal source for this kind of item) i got a better deal at wholelattelove, it was a mother's day sale.
once you raise the spout lid up a little this is resolved.overall it is a great product and at the sale price, a good value.
but i was fortunate enough to be able to snag one on a post-christmas sale that, once a coupon mailed to she-who-must-be-obeyed was applied, brought the cost down to $130.
i could never bring myself to buying one until recently when they went on sale.
i thought the list price was a little more than i wanted to pay - but luckily, it went on sale at a department store for $49.99 with holiday sales.
at one filter every two months (see below), annual replacement (assuming no shipping) will cost you about $60, or about 75% of the current amazon.com sale price.
next time it's whatever the local drug store has on sale.
i was lucky enough to get this braun kf590 impressions digital 10-cup programmable coffeemaker on sale or else i might not have tried it.
(i bought it on sale at a local store.) my preference would be the black one with the white front so you could see the coffee coming out (against the black, the coffee is hard to see unless you use a
for the $60 i paid for it when it was on sale, i don't think i could have gotten better.
my last coffemaker is going into the dumpster - not even fit for a rummage sale!
i've had many compliments on the coffee this machine produces (then i go into my bunn sales pitch!!).
i went with bunn after seeing the nhb model for sale in a starbucks store in seattle; they explained that this was, in their esteemed opinion, the best way to brew due to the 200 degree water and
their sales cant be beat!
i did not know thatit was refurbished, butjust a good sale price.i've noticed reading thereviews that you have quite a few refurbishedcoffeemakers that werebought.i'm sure you won'trefund my money
it was a good sale item, not sure its worth full price.
the only thing i am upset about now is it is now on sale from amazon.
review: i purchased the cuisinart on demand 12c?coffee maker?based on the recommendation from the sales girl at the store.
however, on a recent trip to k-mart we caught this one on sale for just under 40 bucks, and it's red!
however, during the period 1/1/06 to 2/28/07, a portion of each sale was donated by hamilton beach to the american heart association go red for women campaign.
i bought it a couple of weeks ago when it was [on sale] and after using it once, i am returning it.
