i have always been a one-cup-a-day coffee drinker.
the grinder is a bit loud and our house is small, but it has never stirred my kids.
this coffee maker exactly fits the bill for those who don't like pre-ground coffee but aren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars to have fresh ground coffee at home.
good housekeeping has just rated this one of the top 5 of many makers that they tested, and we definitely agree.
i walked 30 feet outside of my apartment and could still hear it clearly.if you live in a house and can stand the 45 seconds of grinding..

i saw on the mr coffee site the machine also comes in red but i couldn't find one to buy.
this machine brews coffee so much faster than my other ones and the biggest bonus is the coffee is hot!

when we realized how much of a mess it created to make a couple cups of coffee, we put our house coffee maker in the camper.
additionally, when i stay at hotels, i keep the mini coffee filters supplied with the room and use them in this pot at home.
i purchased this little gem when i was on an extended stay at a friends house where they didn't drink coffee.
it makes pretty good coffee but i have had my mind set on a new single cup model that uses both grind coffee as well as pods.
so far its been a real good coffee pot have had no problems leaking makes very good coffee, best one that i've found and i've been through alot of coffee pots.
ok, this coffee maker is not the one i own, but it's pretty similar it is the same only black.
he says it's much better for one person than the larger coffee maker he used to have.
this actually has been my favorite coffee maker i've had in years...it outworks any of the other expensive bigger ones i've owned too!

however when i read the manual i noted that it said one tablespoon of coffee for each 5 ounce cup.
she is the only one in her family who drinks coffee and she says it is so easy to have it ready for the next day because after she finishes her morning coffee she makes it up for the next day and
one suggestion i would have for this product is that it would be much easier to tell how much water is in it if it had a gauge on the outside rather than the difficult-to-see inside ladder guage.
i like it so much i will purchase one for my mother this year for christmas.
improvements that could be made--i wish it had a removable reservoir, but the one pot that i have used that had that feature made the worst coffee i've ever made at home, not to mention the leaky pot.
however this coffee pot is not one of them.
we've gone through a few coffee makers and this one is by far the best one.
so...if you want a great cup of coffee, go for this one.
this is a great coffee maker - my last one lasted over a year with heavy use.
this delonghi model seems to be one of the rare exceptions.
so i was at target which was my last stop to find a percolator and they didn't have one.
