the product is great....i have one and wanted another to give to a friend, but the descprition says it is a 3 cup and it's really only a 1 1/2 cup. if you go on bodums website you can find this out, but i didn't know it until i went to their website to see how I screwed up. the eight cup is the real 3 cup. from Amazon.com French press coffee is known for its full, rich flavor. One drawback is that in order to get this fullness, the coffee needs to steep a few minutes, (Bodum recommends 4) and in that time, in a typical uninsulated French press, the coffee cools down a bit.
