I bought this coffee maker because it had the features I was looking for and I assumed it would last a couple of years (I only use on the weekends). I was wrong. from Amazon.com I had the coffee maker two years before it stopped working. Same problem as I've read in numerous other reviews of the product, it just stopped pulling water from the tank. from Amazon.com Design and performance are great. I LOVE all of its conveniences, from the removable water reservoir (no more awkward reaching, pouring, or spilling), to the permanent filter with removable (and very easy to clean) basket. The "shower head" sprayer that "brews" the coffee works wonderfully, creating a full-bodied brew. And finally, it looks awesome on the counter. from Amazon.com I wanted a coffeemaker that didn't have a glass carafe (I tend to break them)and that would shut itself off.
