Also when the beeper lets you know when the coffee is done is really need a few more time to drip or it will drip on the hot plate. The last thing is that it is a little hard to empty the filter. I accidently threw the permanent filter away, and had to call Mr. Coffee for a new one. from Target.com Can't understand it but lucky we called target and with no box but the store recpt. they said we could return it.
