the bottom line: every bialetti is an excellent product.
i've tried the aluminum bialetti espresso maker and although it works well, this one is superior.
i've owned a bialetti class stovetop espresso maker (3-cup) for 4 years now and it continues to perform perfectly.
i prep the water & coffee for my husband in the bialetti before going to bed, so that all he has to do is place it in the stove top & heat up 1/2 a cup of 1 % milk, add brown suger and place it in
machine, but i changed it because there are too many plastic parts in the machine (plastic and hot water - i don't want the chemicals leaching into my coffee) i like to use the bialetti everyday.
i was just about ready to buy an aluminum bialetti when i read a review about the connection to alzheimers and decided this was only about five dollars more and it is more attractive.
the venus bialetti is easy to use-- if you use a countertop drip maker, you can handle this.
purchased the 4 cup bialetti stove top coffee maker.
the bialetti espresso maker came on time, in its original bialetti packaging and with all of the parts unbroken and without any dents or scratches.
i appreciate a purchase that is exactly what it claims to be, and that is what the bialetti venus is.
the cups as some people were confused about) on the purly product side i found that the bialetti mini express 2-cup stovetop percolator didnt make quite enough espresso for me, but it is what it is.
easy to use the bialetti mini express delivers the promised two cups of real espresso, filling the room with the tantalizing coffee aroma.
this bialetti mini express is the fast way to get an "almost" espresso coffee at home.
this is our second bialetti mini express 2-cup stovetop percolator.
message from bialetti about the gasket:
this filter usually tkaes time to get enough espresso to make one cup of coffee, but bialetti does a beautiful job in just about a minute.
bialetti started to built his coffee machines with aluminum because it does not corrode.
it makes coffee more quickly than a conventional electric coffee maker - in fact, it takes longer to boil water in a teapot than to make a pot of coffee w/ the bialetti.
well i purchased this one because bialetti makes the original design that will enhance your moka coffee drinking, and guess what it does!
the bialetti needs to be primed with 2 or 3 batches of coffee before first use to prevent any aluminum flavor.
i have since replaced it and joined the many fans of the bialetti coffeemaker.
after living in italy for 4 years i became accustomed to using the bialetti stove-top espresso maker to prepre my morning coffee and since returning to the us i use no other coffee maker.
of course, it comes out much stronger than an ordinary cup of drip coffee, so you may not need that whole cup of bialetti moka coffee all for yourself.
the espresso wound up tasting pretty bitter, so when i contacted bialetti, they said i could try boiling a half in half vinegar/water solution to clean it.
it's taken about 3 months, but a bunch of hand-cleaning has finally reverted our bialetti to its former shiny state!
get the beans finely ground and put in bialetti but don't overfill or tamp them down, put on medium heat, and as soon as its done pour out the espresso from the bialetti so it doesn't burn the
