Anyone who tells you this is a flour mill is not being truthful - this is a coffee grinder by design, and a good one, simple and truthful, if coffee is what you cherish.

in the pamphlet it says to use this only for coffee beans, but i can't have wheat gluten and am looking for a cheap(er) source of rice flour.

It also did a fabulous job grinding hazelnuts very fine for a cookie dough where the hazelnuts were, in effect, part of the flour.
