does a fine job of grinding coffee to perfection and it has glass hopper and bin.

and it always dribbles coffee grounds after you remove the glass receptacle.

it's the right diameter and the right height to fit just a little snug (like the hopper) and no ground coffee goes flying all over (plus it's clear glass so you can see inside).

and the glass container doesn't conduct static electricity.2) it has adjustable burr spacing to give a wide range of grinds.

also, the glass container seems like it might be a bit flimsy and is easy to break.

i would have preferred glass as opposed to plastic and more consistent results but all in all it is a nice coffee mill.

one review is right about the plastic container and that the static makes the coffee stick to the sides, but as you try to cut costs glass is expensive.

burr grinders i have used in the past were glass, and while i didn't think plastic would be a big deal, extremely fine grinds tend to 'stick' due to static electricity.

yes there is a very small amount of grinds that collect from static but if you want glass and no static, you should have purchased a more expensive unit.

(maybe a glass canister would help?) minor quibble for such a reasonable machine!

we had been very happy with an old (5-year-old) kitchen aid pro burr grinder -- no static, no mess, glass container and grind cup.

couple of reviewers have wished it was made out of glass.

unless you have a glass grind catcher, which would mean owning a completely different grinder, then static will always exist.

it's a small niggle, but the added expense of a glass container would of been worth while.
