This item didn't last anywhere near a year! No more Hamilton Beach products for us. from Target.com I am very pleased with my Hamilton Beach custom grinder. It does a great job making course grinds for my coffee press. from Target.com Sleek looking, works well, and wind-up cord at base of unit is great to have ... no cord hanging out - or need to wind it up and hide it at the back of the unit while it's not being used on the counter.
