Problems : * does not grind coffee very fine and leaves many whole beans from Amazon.com Great coffee chopper (no burrs so I won't call it a grinder.) The main difference between this and the other I've owned is that the chopped coffee doesn't get hot. In most others the coffee at the bottom of the chamber gets cooked by the friction of the blades. To test, I ground 20 grams of coffee in my burr grinder at a medium setting and 20 grams of the same coffee in the Bodum. After you're finished grinding, you'll be happy to find plenty of coffee lavishly strewn over your countertop after you open the lid, which is interesting since so much of it sticks to the bottom of the thing. from Amazon.com I've had nothing but good from this grinder and would recommend it. I AM drinking more coffee because it produces such a fine smooth cup. I shake it around as it hums and tap it out into my Bodum French Press and, man, what a good cup of coffee.
